Laboratory Engineer at Nouryon

About the job
You will gain a network within the organization and have the opportunity to work with chromatography in a wonderful group alongside other chemists. We consist of 7 people divided into 3 labs. Our internal customers are the company's various factories, R&D departments, and the site's environmental department.
In your future role as a Laboratory Engineer, you will:
- Be part of our chromatography group and primarily work with routine analyses from the factory but also analyses for R&D and marketing. You will:
- Perform routine analyses and report high-quality analytical results, mainly within liquid chromatography.
- Ensure that the correct laboratory equipment is used, maintained, and calibrated correctly.
- Troubleshoot instrument problems.
- Follow quality requirements from Swedac (ISO 17025) and GMP standards/guidelines.
- Have customer contacts with internal customers.
We believe you have
- At least a BSc in chemistry/chemical engineering and preferably combined with a few years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of chromatography.
- Experience from laboratory work within chromatography.
- Very good knowledge (fluent) of the Swedish language and good understanding of English.
It’s a plus if you have experience with
- Chromatography, mainly HPLC.
- Laboratory data systems.
- Systematic safety and quality work.
